Nom Van Storage XL is the large module designed for those who want maximum storage capacity, order and versatility without sacrificing the freedom of customization.
The structure includes a pull-out table that can be used as a workstation, and can be installed on either the right or left side as needed. Another pull-out shelf can also be added for a double worktop configuration. The four upper doors and two lower doors allow for optimal organization of equipment, containers, canisters, and materials, while the open central niches offer convenient storage for books, personal items, or tools you always need to have close at hand.
Designed to integrate with the wheel arch, Nom Base XL makes the most of every available centimetre and is designed to accommodate a sink with stored tanks, transforming it into a truly multifunctional module.
It's a solid foundation for advanced DIY setups, but also a ready-to-use solution to make your van functional from day one.
Made of strong and durable birch plywood, it comes with a natural finish: beautiful as it is, but perfect for painting, modifying and adapting to your project.

The Nom van Storage XL is designed to be as simple and quick as possible to assemble.
The structure is assembled with pins and screws, following an intuitive system designed to ensure resistance and stability over time.
You will only need:
- a Phillips screwdriver or drill/driver
Each piece is labeled with a code, which you will find in the instructions: follow the code, join the pieces, and advance step by step.
The instructions are sent via email with your order confirmation. You can follow them directly from your phone or print them out and assemble them yourself.
For even longer life, we recommend using wood glue during assembly.
Fixing to the vehicle
Each module is equipped with pre-drilled holes for fixing to the floor or side wall of the vehicle using the Nom Outdoor system.
You can choose to:
- Using the Nom Outdoor Fixing Kit
- Proceed with your own anchoring system
Dedicated holes are provided to simplify the work and make the installation more precise and tidy.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE
The Nom Van Storage XL is constructed from birch plywood – a solid, durable base suitable for use on the go.
Birch is already a great starting point, but a van lives in variable conditions: humidity, condensation, cold, heat, saltiness, rain.
For this reason we recommend that you:
- apply at least one coat of protective impregnator to increase resistance to humidity and water
- protect the wood before facing particularly humid climates or intensive use
- avoid prolonged contact with stagnant water or condensation
- clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth
The wood comes with a natural finish, you can decide how to make it yours, you can leave it natural, paint it or oil it.

Nom Outdoor modules are designed to be as universal as possible and fit most vans.
However, every van is different: it is always necessary to check the dimensions of the cargo area before purchasing.
On some models, small adjustments may be required, easily made with basic tools , to accommodate wheel arches, trim or interior shapes.
If you want extra support, you can send us measurements or a scan of your cargo space – we’ll be happy to make a simulation of how the Nom modules will fit in your van .
What we are often asked
Is the pull-out table sturdy?
Yes.
The integrated table measures 35 × 60 cm, can hold up to 35 kg and is designed for real-world van use: cooking, working, meals.
Can the table be mounted on the right or left?
Yes.
The Nom Van Storage XL table can be installed on either the right or left side, so you can adapt it to the interior layout of your vehicle.
Additionally, you can purchase a second table separately to have two pull-out tables on the same module: a useful solution if you want more work surfaces or an even more flexible setup.
Is assembly complicated?
No.
Assembly is simple and intuitive, designed to be done independently.
It does not require permanent modifications to the vehicle.
The van is usually ready within a day.
Do the modules need to be attached to the vehicle?
Yes, for safety reasons the modules must be secured.
However, the system is modular and reversible: you can disassemble and remove it whenever you want, returning to the original van.
Can I customize it?
Absolutely yes.
The modules are made of birch plywood with a natural finish: you can paint them, treat them, modify them over time.
The kit is designed as a base, you do the rest.
