The Nom Bed Kit is the most direct way to turn your van into a space where you can sleep well, store everything and set off without compromise. A complete kit — bed and mattress — designed for anyone who wants a proper sleeping area without relying on a workshop.
The birch plywood structure is sturdy, lightweight and designed to last through everyday use. The longitudinal under-bed storage uses the full length of the van: perfect for surfboards, skis, outdoor equipment or simply keeping things tidy while travelling.
The slatted system allows the bed platform to open up to 129 cm wide. The drop-down doors with the push & lock system open in one motion and remain closed while driving. The structure is symmetrical: install it on the right or left side depending on your setup.
The Nom Mattress completes the kit with handcrafted comfort. Handmade in Italy with high-density foam and a removable water-repellent cover, it transforms from bed to sofa in seconds thanks to its modular design.
All panels arrive pre-drilled with metal inserts already fitted — ready for you to add Nom drawers in the future without any structural modification.

Is the bed homologated?
The Nom Outdoor Bed is designed as an easily removable module, not permanently integrated into the vehicle.
For this reason, in most cases no approval is required, because the vehicle retains its original configuration and the module can be removed without structural modifications.
That said, regulations vary by country and vehicle use.
If you wish to proceed with an official approval (for example to convert the vehicle into a camper van), it is possible to do so, but it depends on local regulations and the route chosen.
In these cases we recommend that you:
