A complete modular kit that combines a bed, mattress, and compact furniture, designed to set up your van in just a few steps and make it ready to go within a day.
The modules are easy to assemble, designed to fit the vehicle's space and attach to the chassis using a practical, reversible fastening system, allowing for easy assembly and disassembly. A solid yet flexible solution, perfect both as a base for a DIY setup and as a ready-to-use configuration to maximize your vehicle's potential.
Made of birch plywood, the Nom Starter Kit is sturdy, stable, and naturally beautiful. It can be used as is or customized and painted, making each set as unique as the journey it will accompany.
The kit is designed to optimize space, offering comfort, order and functionality without sacrificing freedom of movement.

Each Nom Outdoor Mattress includes:
- Complete modular mattress (fixed part + mobile part)
- Removable lining with zip and Velcro closure to join the modules
The Nom Van Storage S includes:
- 4 flap hinges,
- 6 push & lock,
- 2 x 35kg slides for the pull-out table,
- 6 hinges for the doors,
- all the essential pins and screws for quick and precise assembly.

The Nom Starter Kit it is designed to be as simple and quick as possible to assemble.
All structures are assembled with pins and screws, following an intuitive system designed to ensure resistance and stability over time.
You will only need:
- a Phillips screwdriver or drill/driver
All panels are already pre-drilled for dowels and screws, so assembly is precise and guided.
Each piece is labeled with a code, which you will find in the instructions: follow the code, join the pieces, and advance step by step.
The instructions are sent via email with your order confirmation. You can follow them directly from your phone or print them out and assemble them yourself.
For even longer life, we recommend using wood glue during assembly.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE
The Nom Outdoor mattress is designed to last over time with simple maintenance:
- The cover is completely removable and washable; we recommend washing at low temperatures and air drying.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to humidity, standing water or condensation
- Ventilate the van periodically to maintain a dry environment
- Rotate your mattress over time to preserve its shape and comfort
- Make sure it is completely dry before closing or storing it.
With minimal but consistent care, your mattress will maintain its comfort, support, and hygiene even after many miles of travel.
Nom Outdoor Compact Bed and Furniture
Birch plywood is a strong and durable material, perfect for travel use.
To preserve the product over time, we recommend:
- clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth
- avoid prolonged exposure to humidity or standing water
- apply a base of wood stain to protect the wood, especially if you plan to customize or varnish it
- use products suitable for wood in case of treatments or decorations

Some models may require minor adjustments, easily accomplished with basic tools, to accommodate wheel arches, trim, or interior contours.

Is the bed homologated?
The Nom Outdoor Bed is designed as an easily removable module, not permanently integrated into the vehicle.
For this reason, in most cases no approval is required, because the vehicle retains its original configuration and the module can be removed without structural modifications.
That said, regulations vary by country and vehicle use.
If you wish to proceed with an official approval (for example to convert the vehicle into a camper van), it is possible to do so, but it depends on local regulations and the route chosen.
In these cases we recommend that you:
