The Nomad Kit XL is the complete kit for anyone looking for a more advanced van conversion — with greater storage capacity and even more efficient use of space.
The Nom Bed is the structural foundation of the setup: robust, modular and configurable, and can be installed on either the right or left side of the vehicle. The space underneath uses the full available length for carrying long, bulky equipment.
The Nom Mattress completes the sleeping system with a modular configuration that easily transforms from bed to sofa, optimising the interior space.
The kitchen module, with a fridge compartment and pull-out worktop, provides a genuine compact travel kitchen. Van Storage XL increases the van’s organisational capacity with a larger structure, an integrated table and more efficient management of the sink, water canisters and multipurpose space.
The result is a complete, modular setup ready to go wherever you do.

Securing to the vehicle
Each module has pre-drilled holes for securing it to the floor or side wall using the Nom Outdoor system. You can use the Nom Fixing Kit or your own anchoring system.

The Nomad Kit XL is designed for L2 vans with a long cargo area. Always check your cargo-area dimensions before purchasing, especially wheel arches, interior panels and side clearances.

Birch structure
- Apply a protective wood treatment before use
- Varnish or treat the wood if it is exposed to frequent moisture
- Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth
- Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or standing water
Mattress
- Removable cover, washable at low temperatures; air dry
- Make sure it is completely dry before folding it away
- Air out the van regularly to maintain a dry environment
- Rotate the mattress periodically to preserve its shape and comfort

Frequently Asked Questions about Nomad Kit XL
What is the difference between the Cook Kit and the Nomad Kit XL?
The main difference lies in the included storage module. The Nomad Kit XL includes the Storage XL
If you have an L1 vehicle, please note that it will most likely be necessary to make cuts in the pre-arranged bed areas to comfortably accommodate the Cook module. In L2 vehicles, thanks to the larger loading space, this adaptation is not necessary in most cases, and you can opt for the Nomad Kit XL.
In any case, always check the measurements from the product sheet before purchasing and measure the available space in your cargo area — every van is different.
Do you need to make any holes or make any permanent modifications to the van?
No. The modules are designed to be completely removable. For safety while driving, they must be secured to the floor — so you need to make sure there's a suitable surface for attachment.

Do I need type approval?
Nom modules are designed as removable elements, not permanently integrated into the vehicle. In most cases, homologation is not required. If you wish to proceed with official homologation, the process depends on local regulations and must be evaluated with a specialized center.
Can I install the modules myself without experience?
Yes. The panels arrive pre-drilled, processed, and labeled with a code that you will find in the instructions. You only need a screwdriver or a power drill. No carpentry skills are required. The instructions are sent via email, and you can follow them directly from your smartphone.
Can I add a sink to the Storage XL?
Yes. The Storage XL has the necessary space to integrate a sink with internally stowed tanks. It is not included in the kit but can be easily integrated as a later upgrade.
